Board
Marianhill Inc., founded in 1954, is a combined Home for the Aged, Nursing Home, Chronic Care, and Community Service facility, the lands and buildings of which are owned by the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception and operated under the management of a Board of Directors. The Board of Marianhill Inc. is recruited from the community served by Marianhill. Annually, Marianhill advertises in local media and invites interested members of the community to apply for vacant positions on the Board.
In 1997, the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception withdrew from involvement in Marianhill and transferred their sponsorship responsibilities within the Roman Catholic Church to a new organization, the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario (CHCO). The members of the corporation of Marianhill Inc. are those persons who hold the position of Director of the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario.
