Marianhill's Donor Recognition Tree
Marianhill's donor recognition tree is now a reality.
A memorial to:
- Remember loved ones
- Thank Marianhill for care received
- Provide additional facilities and programs for the comfort and care of our residents
The project would not have been successful but for Dana Shaw of Herb Shaw & Sons Ltd who provided the materials and leadership in making this project a reality. The tree was designed and installed by Mr. Juby, a well know artisan from the Ottawa Valley and his wife, Frankie. Mr. Jeff Sylvestre installed the maple veneer background and the finished leaves on the tree were a joint project by the students from Opeongo, Fellowes and Bishop Smith High Schools. Without the support of the community this project would not have been completed.
The community's support of Marianhill has never been more important. You are invited with the friends of Marianhill, whose caring generosity is recognized on our donor recognition tree to purchase a leaf, branch or stone. It is a beautiful way to remember a loved one, to honour someone or to celebrate a special event like a birth, graduation, marriage or anniversary. This special gift is tax deductible.
The cost is as follows:
$1,000 Commemorative Leaf
$2,500 Commemorative Bird
$3,500 Commemorative Branch
$5,000+ Commemorative Stone
The Marianhill Foundation will try to accommodate everyone's wording on each leaf, but space is limited.
Marianhill needs the support of the community because the need exists NOW. Your support will assist us in meeting the needs of our residents and your gift to the Marianhill Donor Recognition Tree will be forever displayed at Marianhill.
