RESIDENT COMFORT FUND

We are asking for your support of Marianhill's ONGOING COMMITMENT to improve the quality of service that we provide to your mother, father, your brother or sister, friend or neighbour who, because of illness or advanced age now relies on the service we provide.

With the support of the community we continue to carry out our Mission and offer specialized services to the community to provide quality of life for adults who require continuing care services.
 

ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE CARE, RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FUND

  • Through the Dr. L.U. McCluskey Centre, Marianhill provides assessment and respite to persons in the Community who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
  • In 2003 renovations were completed to establish a Special Care Unit to improve the quality of life of our residents who have some degree of cognitive impairment.
  • Donations to this Fund will be used to equip the McCluskey Centre and the Special Care Unit and to provide training and education for staff that work in these units.
     

PALLIATIVE CARE FUND

Marianhill operates a Palliative Care program fro admissions from our community, Donations to this fund will be used to purchase equipment for the Palliative Care Unit and to provide additional education and training for our staff related to the care of terminally ill residents.

PLANNED GIVING

Planned giving is the art of planning your charitable gifts to provide maximum benefits for yourself, your family and the charitable organization of your choice. The Marianhill Foundation is set up to assist you in your planning. Your Gift will make a significant contribution that will benefit many people for many years to come.
